a smearing white board By Abel
|
| I have had this problem before. I was using a very large white board. It had a slick surface with white board background. I was getting a lot of smearing. It got so bad I could not erase anymore. Erasing would make large, gooey smears. I discovered an easy way to correct the problem. There is too much dry-erase ink on the eraser and the board is not really clean underneath. To get the layer of dirty film off the white board, use a wet cloth or wet paper towel. Plain tap water works really great on dry erase boards and is super easy and fast. After wiping the board with a wet towel, dry it clean with a dry cloth or dry paper towel. The white board will be like new without any dirt/film that causes smears.
