What are you trying to achieve or accomplish? make sure you aren't too negative and make sure you have a clear goal in mind and know how you are going to make writing better. Is this your focus for the school year, are you going to look at state scores, your school scores, are you going to use graphic orgainizers, teach basics work on writing paragraphs, spellin, sentence structure. Parents want to know what you can for their children, not all the problems. Just make sure you end on a positive note and some sure fire ways to improve writing
