Dear Laura,I have just been catching up with everything as I have been away from my computer for three weeks, (summer holidays Down Under), and have just read the posts regarding your poetry worksheets. If it is not too | late, and you feel up to it, would it be possible to send them my way, please. We are almost ready to start our school year and my school conducts an oral poetry competition for all students. They have to recite/perform a poem to the class. Two class winners are selected and they compete in a grade competition to determine a grade winner. This person is presented with a trophy at the |

academic assembly. As a result, first term is devoted to poetry as a theme for English. Your idea of a calendar would ensure that poetry was ongoing for the whole year.
