rhinitis is...that you have a heightened sense of smell...it's like being super sensitive to smell which is very difficult for people to understand. I usually say...imagine all those bad smells you have in your classroom
that you are spraying to eliminate...I can smell them too only magnify what you are smelling by 100...that's how I smell most things....they can relate to that....and for me it does not cause the breathing problems...I get a migrane....

and yes your principal is accountable for this...I believe mine is covered under the americans with disabilities act....I'm not positive but when I had

that doctor's letter in my hand they sure did jump...

also in our school we have to have an OSHA safty letter on each chemical we have in the building...so do those teachers have a letter for those airfresheners? In our school the glade plug ins are banned items.
