orthodox perspective
By Lydia

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm not sure what religion you are, but perhaps my orthodox experience would help. My daughter goes to an orthodox school - and we recently held a parent meeting regarding evolution, etc. to gain a collective understanding and a unified voice for our children to hear. With the help of our priest - we came to the conclusion that the orthodox faith is not afraid of science - but welcomes is. Science does not in any way, shape, or form disprove any religious beliefs whatsoever. IT helps us to understand GOd's creation. The only time science is an issue is when it compromises life (such as abortion, gene manipulation, cloning, etc.).
