best gift

Clip to ScrapBook
My kids don't give great gifts. You are lucky if you get a dollar store item. Last year though, I received an ornament that said "Our first Christmas together, 1995". I'm still wondering whose tree he ripped it off of. I
hung it on my tree at home last year and this year too, It makes my family laugh. It makes me sad that there was alittle boy who wanted toget his teacher a gift and was so desperate that he found one the only way he could.I will never forget Melvin, and every year I will pray that he is sharing Christmas with someone wo loves him.
A few years before this I received a beautiful leather
wallet , unwrapped with the tags still on. Christmas wasn't here quite yet so I wrote a note home that said to mom thaanks for the wallet, its not even my birthday. Come to find out he stole it from Marshall's. Mom came and took away my beautiful wallet, but claimed he did not steal it, that it slipped into his jacket while they were trying on coats. He told me later that he did steal it. Poor kid.
