Clip to ScrapBook
Look for the book "Snowballs". I think it's by Lois Ehlert but I could be wrong. It shows all sorts of great ways to dress a snowman, and it's almost 3D - the illustrations are excellent. Following the story, have the children each prepare a snowman with white paper circles on a colored poster and take it home. With parents help they get to glue on items from home for eyes, mouth, hair, hat, clothes, etc. The story gives lots of ideas.
