Hand lotions from Bath and Body are always good gifts. A coffee mug w/ chocolate candies (or their favorite candy) or several flavored decaf tea bags (if they are tea drinkers) inside are nice, too. Candles are great. If you're close, like if the para is full time in your room, you could get a gift certificate to something he or she likes. Hmmm, I just gave myself some ideas!
