We've had parents do things like that at my school too. I think the best thing to do is be upfront with the parents and keep communicating with them. I know you probably want to run in the other direction when you see them coming, but maybe they'll back off if they feel like they know what's going on.

It is dumb for them to complain about being a lesson or two off from the other class.
