Pick your battles

In PE, I would let them run all over the place as long as they aren't skipping. As long as they aren't doing anything dangerous. I think we sometimes let things bother us that we should simply ignore. Some schools mainstream the EBD students into PE and the aid find something else to do which is troubling. Leave notes about behavior in general. If you leave notes about behavior, write the words CONFIDENTIAL INFO FOR MRS.X (the teacher's name) and staple the ends of the paper together. That keeps nosey parent volunteers from reading the note and spreading gossip around.
