I found a good website. www.iep4u.com
It will give you some ideas for goals/objectives.
Don't write too many goals. What does the student REALLY need? Look at the psych's evaluation report and tie the goals into that.
For example, evaluation report may say "student
needs specialized instruction in reading comprehension, writing, math, life skills."
Write one goal and two objectives for each of those areas based on your current assessments.
Record IEP progress on simple charts. In the past, I have used a clipboard for each student.
Now I just keep those in their files and update periodically. Hang in there. It will get easier
for you as time goes on.
