conclusions

Hi,

I am a 4th grade teacher. I teach multi-paragraph essays. I always tell my kids that a conclusion restates the opening. It is usually an opinion paragraph and at times you can "talk" to the reader. There should be no basic facts or details in it. It is very general! I hope this helps a little.

Sample of a kid's conclusion:

As you can see, lions are fascinating animals. They are interesting and dangerous. I wouldn't want to make one mad! I hope you enjoyed my "roaring good" animal report on the wonderful, majestic lion.
