guided reading..in a very small room

I'm a NEW teacher to 1st grade...guided readinghas got me baffled..the room is small and I have 13 students. I know they need assistance-but calming the "others" to have group time/any time to instruct is hard! I had a "reading coach" in my room and the children were off the wall...I want to teach them how to read..but getting started...HELP PLEASE...
