Jehovah's Witness
By Ro

Clip to ScrapBook
When I was a permanent sub we had two Jehovah's Witness children in the school. Normally, their mother would send in something to celebrate on another occasion such as the change of seasons so she would send in cupcakes to celebrate the arrival of winter. THis could be incorporated into a unit on different customs and beliefs that are celebrated during the winter (Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzza, etc.) Jehovah's Witnesses also do not celebrate birthdays so the children's mother would send in a separate treat her children on someone's birthday.
