Just a question...
By MrsP

Clip to ScrapBook
Can't the students do the work they are missing because of being pulled out with the teacher that is pulling them out? I have scheduled my lessons around the Title 1 group. One group leaves for reading at 9:30 and I am doing
reading at 9:30 in the class. The other group leaves at 12:30 for math, and I am doing the second half of the math lesson at that same time. I have my Title 1 pull outs do the same thing we are doing if they stayed in class. At first the Title 1 teacher was a little hesitant to take my work because she wanted to do her own. We came to a compromise, I only send minimal work. The students
do one worksheet for me with her help and then the Title 1 teacher can do something she has planned. It puts less stress on the students trying to catch up on work and missing out on something else. This has worked for me.
