I don't really have much advice here, I just feel for you. You try and get the parents involved and they don't want to help or are too tired. One suggestion is to just ask the child to read and not do all of the comments. At least he/she would be reading. ADHD stuff should be handled by child study, if you are making modifications what else can you do. Hope I was somewhat of a help...Keep us posted.
