I'd make sure that I took this little boy aside and explained to him that you can see that this other teacher says means things to him. and you want him to know that you don't agree. Then, I would start to talk about how wonderful he is infront her. and if she said anything negative - I'd say (in front of this kid), then you didn't feel the same way. that he is wonderful in your class, etc. Tell him what you think about him. Then I'd report her to the principal, then the guidance counselor. (He may need counseling because of this piece of work). Then I'd meet her outside in the parking lot with a pillow case and baseball bat.
