I, too, had trouble with items in my classroom and CCD students and teachers.
In God we trust, but all else we document, document, document. Keep a journal of dates and things broken, etc. Once a month or so write a letter again, with your documentation. It might not hurt to mention the 7th commandment and the destruction of property, either.
If all the teachers document their damage, etc. the head of CCD will have to do something. Especially if the $$$$ adds up. It worked for us.
