I purchase at the dollar store a box of glass ornaments. PLAIN . . .red and green are nice. You can get a dozen or more for a buck! I then use a paint pen, silver or gold and write their name on the ball in a facy script then tie a cute plaid bow around the top. I also put the year. It is kinda a fun gift for MY kids as I teach in a Hispanic school and most of my kids have unsual name and they LOVE getting something with their name on it.
