Thank you both for responding. You can probally tell that I am alittle concerned with the lack of dicipline in my school. Every other private/public school in the area is talking about when kids from our school go to theirs
they are terrible. This of course makes us as teachers look foolish, but it starts at the top. I was told to handle all behavior problems in my classroom. This really upset me b/c I can count on one hand how many times I've sent a child to the office this year. I have a class of 10 VERY active little boys and 7 quite little girls which makes it difficult to teach when you are constantly
correcting behavior. Yes, I've talked to parents about their behavior but for the most part its gotten me no where. Thank you both again I'm going to let the principal know how other schools in the private sector do it and maybe she'll have a change of heart. I'll keep praying!!!
