I teach special ed and even if the kids do have ADHD or a LD, I AM NOT A MIRACLE WORKER!!! I can only do so much. I really feel your frustration because I have parents who do not check up on their kids doing their homework or studying, but when they fail a test who gets in trouble? the kid? No, It's ME!!! It's my fault they didn't study! Even when I give them a study guide that is basically the test. I have kids getting 17's and 25's on tests... when I ask them if they study "Nope" and then I have a not in my mailbox "call Mrs. so-and-so about test grade". AHHHH!!!!
