Every teacher knows the amount of money and time- your own personal money and time- that goes into classrooms, lessons, materials, etc. Those fancy borders for the bulletin board probably weren't given to you by the school...those calendar numbers didn't laminate themselves...those balloons took all night to blow up and interrupted my family time, etc. You know what I mean. You use your money for your classroom, now it's time to take a little something for yourself. No big deal.
