Clip to ScrapBook
YOU earned those points when you spent all your time gathering, adding, sending, phoning, faxing and distributing. We do not have to participate in book clubs at all. Those books are a great bargain for the parents and they get everything they pay for and deserve when they receive a book order. The whole reason Scholastic gives us the points is as an incentive to help them make money. VERY FEW parents are even aware that the teachers receive points. You are under no obligation to use those points in your classroom. I personally use them for all sorts of things, stocking stuffers, birthday gifts, books for home and school, and my own personal pleasure. Get that gift for your husband MSmith!
