I feel exactly the way you do. I would leave teaching in a heartbeat if I could find a job where I make the salary I do. It's not much but I live in a small town.

We can thank George W. Bush and his NCLB act for all this testing. In my district, we teach more than we test. That's why all the kids are failing. But...we're partly to blame. If teachers would write letters to the editor expressing discontent, maybe someone will notice. If we stay quiet, everyone thinks we're just fine with all this nonsense.
