I don't believe blessed is the word for a person's situation when they are miserable! Try to decide if it is teaching in general, or specifically WHERE you are teaching that is the porblem. Have you considered changing districts? Not every school or district would be the same as what you are experiencing. Teaching degrees can be valuable in other areas if you decide elementary education is not for you.You have people skills that can translate into many areas. Examples of choices are working for a textbook company, working as a human resources training person with a large firm. Real Estate sales has been profitable for some former teachers I have known. Some have gone into a business of their own, ranging from day care to computer information services, to a school supples store.
