Clip to ScrapBook
It really depends on your administration. The administration at my school encourages us to call when there is a student severely hindering the learning of others. I have a student in my classroom who will cry uncontrolably at the drop of a hat. Nothing I do will stop her. I can only ignore her for so long and then I have to have her removed so that I can continue with the rest ofthe class. Last year I had a student that would flip out, refuse to do anything and hid under tables and scream. He was in the office about every other day until we were able to put a BIP in place. I don't think I was on the radar. I was supported. I was a first year teacher and I was asked to come back this year. Hope this helps!
