Spelling HW

I do crossword puzzles. I also let them make up questions to ask about the words, like a clue for a mystery and try to stump each other. I also do spelling bees in class once a week. This seems to make them study a little more. I also have a pretest on Monday and if they make 100 they do not have to take the test on Friday. They get to go out in the hall and play a board game. Just a few ideas. Carole
