teacher's lounge

I have read several of the posts and am feeling very fortunate. I sub for several districts and have only been "invisible" in a few lounges. I do find the smaller districts (country schools) to be the most welcoming and friendly. I have never been asked to leave even if a meeting was taking place. When I am totally avoided it is usually at a Jr. High and I just laugh to myself and think how thankful I am to not have to see these people everyday, that I do not have to take an assignment at a particular school if I do not wish to whereas they have to be there everyday!
