    Tables of Contents and newspaper headings

    Textbooks contain tables of contents have headings and sub-headings that generally break down topics...they come in handy! Complete sentences can be made from this source after reading a paragraph from a sub-heading and connecting the topic to a heading...sort of like working backwards. Newspapers can be a good place for making generalizations because typically, the first paragraph of an article is a single compound sentence generalizing the entire subject of the article.
