Ridiculous! I know that even when taking classes for my teaching degree, they taught us that a gym teacher should be able to move around and participate. Hence, no dress shoes and skirts. So, dress like a gym teacher. I had the same reaction as you - WHEN does a person change to and out of the gym clothes? Sorry, but gym is back to back with health or computer and recess (which is often my supervision)! Might as well invest in a whole lot of track suits and sweats, cuz that's ALL I will be wearing if I have to do my job and meet the new regulations!
