I don't know how my post got so mixed up. The last three paragraphs were somewhere higher up in my original post. Oh, well you"ll get the drift.

I should add that I too find there are so many demands (meetings, committees, groups, workshops, etc.) that sometimes it gets to be a bit too much. It seems like every year more paperwork and all that other stuff (goals, professional growth plans, etc.) is getting dumped on us and it's hard to "just teach".
