Math Help
By Suzanne

Clip to ScrapBook
Let students create fraction cards on index cards. Give them a list of fractions (make sure to include equivalents like 1/2, 2/4, 4/8 or 2/3 and 4/6). Have them draw each fraction on an individual card (by either dividing and coloring in square, rectangle or circle shapes) and label with the correct fraction.

Once they have a deck of fraction cards, they can
(1) play card games (i.e. each player puts down a fraction card and the one with the greater fraction wins) or (2) hang them on a clothesline in order from least to greatest.
