If Kerry were elected, perhaps we would finally be able to stop the use of non-medical terms like "partial birth abortion" that have been made up by the anti-abortion folks to stir up emotions of people who have no medical expertise. Perhaps if Kerry were elected we would allow doctors to do the work they are highly trained to do, which is to make the decisions about the procedures that are most appropriate to protect their patients' health, rather than having legislators make those decisions for us.
