Subbing in own child's school

I am a career sub subbing now for 4 1/2 years. I sub in my daughter's school and have subbed in their classes in the past. Now, however, they are in middle school and would prefer me not to sub in their classes, so I don't. I also ask my child and put them first.
When I subbed in their classes they were good, I hardly even noticed that they were there.
As far as Krissy saying that in Michigan it is not allowed to sub in your child's class-I don't know where she got that rule from. I live in a rural town in Michigan with only two schools. Not much choice.
