5th Grade....

We read Holes as our first novel and the students really enjoyed it. I was really amazed at the connections some of the students came up with.We are now reading another book by Louis Sachar, There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom. The kids are really relating to it since it's about a boy in the 5th grade. It's a great book if you have those "troublesome" students.
