I taught in LA for several years, St. Mary Parish. I'm not suprised about what board of eds will try to do to make ends meet.

Keep the teachers banned together and Strike if necessary. I usually don't advocate for striking but if all else fails I would. Teachers don't get respect anyway and then to have the very board that employs you show even less support is unacceptable.

Why can't the country see that without teachers there would be no future for this nation. Bush got to be president from the help of his teachers, Kerry can run for the position because of his teachers but when it comes down to everything education seems to be the last on the list.
