move to the order
By Amy P

Clip to ScrapBook
I make signs the kids wear around their necks and they are written ordinal number words, not the numbers, that is too easy.
I have them stand in a mixed up line, I have two helpers from the rest of the class to be the ones to arrange them in order. They take each other to the correct spot. It is a lot of fun and the children love wearing the signs and moving around to their correct spot. We do it again and again until everyone gets to be the arranger. I do it over a couple of days and usually when i have a little break or right before lunch to get in line.
