Also, what type of degree is she seeking? It sounds like you are a third grade teacher from your name. I take it she is majoring in education, right? I'm only asking this because if she has a minor in it and a major in a subject area, she might be like that because she hasn't take all the courses a teacher majoring in education would. My mom is a teacher as well, and she taught middle school and high school. She always told me that she observed that the as a whole, the ones majoring in education and minoring in a subject were much better at student teaching than the ones who minored in education and majored in a subject. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. My last comment was meant as a whole, not all the time, so if you minored in education and majored in a subject, I'm not saying that you aren't a very good teacher/student teacher.
