I've only venture into the teacher's lounge when I more or less "have" to out of courtesy like one poster said, but I always have reading material. I prefer the classroom. It's quiet and relaxing. I also sometimes get asked to sub as a para (aide) or floater and that's the worst because you have no "home", so I'll go out to my car on those occasions! Sounds ridiculous, but that is where I feel most comfortable.
