Clip to ScrapBook
I teach fifth grade. In my room, I usually pass out worksheets and things to my students. If I allow the students to do it, it's never any assignment, test, quiz, project, etc. It's always a worksheet that the class is being
passed out for homework or in class work. I don't believe in having any student pass out graded things to their classmates. That's just the way I am. I don't think it's anyone's business what a student gets on an assignment except for me, the student, the parents, and the principal. By the principal, I don't mean that I show the principal every assignment, but the principal does request
to look at usually one assignment and one test or quiz every month. I like that! It shows that he is interested in seeing what we are learning and the progress of the students. I also don't allow students to correct each other's work. If I have them correct work instead of me, each student corrects his or her own.

In passing out worksheets that need to be completed, it helps to have the desks in rows or something easy so that you can just count the number of papers to each row, column, group, etc. and hand it to the first person. Then they can pass it back.
