Powerpoints are nice. You can assign students a president to research and to put a powerpoint together. I'm sure you would have a lot left over though!

Another idea would be stations. You can get information on each president from books, the internet, etc. Then put the students in groups. Have them walk around and read the information at each station and do a follow-up activity. You obviously won't get them all done in one day, so I reccomend spacing them out so these take place on a lot of days over just one.

You could also combined these ideas. Have each student do a powerpoint on one president, then use the ones you didn't use for the powerpoint to do stations on.
