comprehension strategies/intermediate novels

ampgt;We are using Mosiac of Thought and Strategies That Work as a basis for our comprehension/metacognitive instruction. The authors of Strategies That Work have listed many wonderful picture books that work well with these strategies. I am looking for intermediate novels that also are great partners with these comprehension strategies. Any suggestions?
