Our contract calls for two meetings a month until 50 mintues after our dismissal time (Elementary would be done at 3:50) My princiapl usually has one building faculty meeting and usually has us out about 2:30, if possible. Last year the second meeting was something that all of the elementary schools had, such as a speaker on bullying or presentations from our reading coach. Three times a year we have 2 hour meetings. They replaced a work day after the students leave in June. If you are on a committee, there may be an occasional meeting that runs longer.
