reading is huge!

reading would be your best bet for a concentration. we get so many grants for our students based in reading. we have many reading programs within our school because we have such low readers (i'm in an inner city). if reading is not your choice (like me!!), go for science or math. those aren't in a huge demand at the elementary level but if you like middle or even high school, that's also a surefire way to get hired. good luck! i teach science to elementary students...i got lucky. and i love it.
