I was a Title one EA for many years (I am licensed in elementary education with a partial masters). I lost my job due to this act and they want me to volunteer because they have no money. He also talked about the trade adjustment act providing money for adults to go back to school. This is not true. Tons of factories have closed in my area and those folks can't get any federal or state funds. Pell grants and state aid is not available for those who already have degrees to go back to school for new degrees in other areas. The President is not really aware of what has happened with any of his programs. He has outsourced so many jobs off shore that soon no one will have a job in this country.
