I completely understand where you are coming from. I am a young teacher, although I have 5 years experience and I get negative attitudes from my colleagues-mostly the older ones. I am very attractive, in great shape and I constantly get comments if we have treats in the staff room like-why aren't you eating are you on a diet or something, or you need to eat more, which is totally rude. I am skinny and have a great figure because I work out, but I would never make a comment like that on someone who was overweight. It seems like older teachers seem threatened by younger, more attractive teachers-especially women- because kids like seem to like them more and we are more positive and energetic. I know how you are feeling-hang in there!!
