Clip to ScrapBook
I know how you feel, its only my first year, but i have a second grader who will NOT raise his hand to save his life. He always yells out questions, comments, songs, whatever he wants. If i hear my name one more time by the end of the day sometimes i want to scream. I am sooo strict on the hand raising thing, i move his clip on our behavior stoplight, call him mom, whatever, but it never seems to help. He literally drives me to the point of insanity. I never noticed how bad it was until his parents took him out one day to go to disney world and suddenly it was like my class had been taken over by angels. They were sooo quiet and calm because he wasnt there to get them riled up about nothing!
