Homework

Angela, I do give homework several times per week. I consider homework to be practice of skills covered in the classroom during the day. My students have spelling homework three times a week and may have math once or twice a week. In the other subjects - science, social studies, for instance- I seldom have homework. When I do, it's usually a project that is to be done over a period of time. There is no hard and fast policy for giving homework at my school, though I have been told recently that weekend homework is "against policy." I doubt it's written anywhere Good luck on your paper.
