So that you are not wasting time teaching science lessons that are not grade appropriate, get your state standards. Your state provides those for free. Do you have the big blue Core Curriculum that Catholic schools use? You
will be pleasantly surprised to see that you CAN get your science in to meet state standards. We all seem to think we need to follow all that stuff in the book and it is just WAY too much. Gosh I feel so bad for you. If you cannot find either of those let me know and I will mail you my Indiana guide from last year; it is 99% the same as this year's, and I have a new one. Am I on the 3rd
grade board? Do you teach 3rd? I might be able to get another teacher's if you need another level. They come with a companion book chock FULL of ideas and worksheets. Let me know-happy to help.
