Forces, Simple Machines
By Forces, Simple Machines

Clip to ScrapBook
How about teaching them about force. You can do some easy hands on experiments that won't make the kids to crazy. I did an experiment with force using a marble, block, a rolled up paper ball, and pencil. I had the kids measure how far the objects would go when they blow on them. You can also talk about simple machines. There are a lot of experiments the kids can do right at their desk using a ruler and text book. You can look on the internet for ideas, just google search simple machines. I have a great book at work that has short stories and questions for the kids to answer on different science topics. I will post you the name of the book, you can find it at the educational stores. Hope this helps.
